Woop Art

A digital art space that makes art tangible and keeps every single work permanently findable.

Web designDevelopmentInfrastructure

Task

A grown collection of 98 unique works had to convey the atmosphere of an exhibition and function as a structured, bilingual catalogue at the same time.

Solution

Two ways into the same collection: a walkable gallery and a complete catalogue – 214 indexable addresses generated from centrally maintained artwork data.

Consent management

Our own consent engine – built for our projects, with no vendor, no licence, and consents and logs on our own infrastructure.

Service of our ownData sovereigntyArchitecture

Task

Consents should not depend on an external vendor – neither on its script in the load path nor on its servers, limits and recurring fees.

Solution

An engine of our own with an interchangeable data source and a project-specific interface – versioned, in our own deployment, without a foreign domain in the loading path.

It was important to me to present all my artworks in one place - a digital one in this case - alongside physical exhibitions, and in a fitting setting. The digital gallery conveys the atmosphere of an exhibition space just as I would wish it to be.
With the new website I can present and manage my artworks clearly. I particularly like that every work has its own place and that new pieces slot easily into the existing collection.
When my website was being built, it mattered to me that the design suits my works and became a digital gallery with the atmosphere to match - one in which I can present my work in my own way.
The wonderful personal collaboration now shows in the result of your work.
